Ocean Kayak Trident 15 Angler
The Trident 15 was designed by professional kayak anglers looking to create the very best sea going angling kayak. Originally designed for use of New Zealand, the Trident 15 performs exceedingly well in coastal waters typically found around the UK's shores. The Trident 15 is the fastest kayak in the Trident line-up and will outrun shorter sit on top kayaks. Making it perfect for reaching further offshore, tracking for miles along the coastline, or being the first out of the pack to reach your intended site.
Apart from the well proven hull designs, the Trident Series of angling kayaks all share the same great fishing features. Some of the features (including newly updated) that sets these boats apart include the central console- perfect for attaching accessories to, including fish finders and rod holders. This console also includes a roomy compartment and exterior magnetic gear holder. A handily located transducer scupper hole will take the majority of modern fish finder transducers for simple installation. 4x slide tracks on the boats gunnels provide great attachment points for additional accessories such as rod holders, GPS or camera mounts.
The large watertight bow hatch will easily take lots of kit, including the popular C-Tug trolley. There is also lots of storage space in the rear tank-well too for keeping a crate (optional extra) additional kit or the catch of the day. A handy rod tip cover now features on the bow of the kayak for transporting rods, especially during beach launches or in rough seas.
If you are looking for a kayak with similar features but are more manoeuvrable, and lighter to carry, transport or car-top then please look at either the Trident 11 or the Trident 13.
