P&H Custom Sea Kayaks Ocean Play Boats

For those that like to play the ocean, the P&H Aries is the refined, composite version of the popular rotomoulded Delphin design. Constructed from stiff, light composite materials by UK based P&H craftsmen, and available in two sizes for different weight paddlers. The Aries is shorter than traditional sea kayaks, with a stronger rocker profile. This gives much greater manouverability, and when combined with the wide, planing hull the Aries make a suberb, stable platform for surfing and riding swell.

The Aries has a high bow volume, squared off stern and a set-back cockpit position which all aid for a dry ride, and help to prevent the nose from diving when surfing, rock-hopping or beach landing in rough conditions. The smooth chines on the Aries hull are forgiving and help to provide a reassuringly stable base for a predictable paddle even in turbulent water. Although the Aries is best considered to be an ocean-plat sea kayak, it still kaes for a great day boat, or expedition boat over shorter length trips.
