P&H Virgo Composite

Lightweight, short, composite British sea kayak
The huge success of the rotomoulded Virgo led to P&H developing a composite equivalent of the same kayak model. Keeping true to the original lines of the Virgo, the composite version is still considered a short sea kayak designed to be nimble and perfectly suited for ocean play. The V shaped hull, cuts cleanly through the swell and chop but softens towards the middle of the kayak for good stability and an easy release. The hull shape complements the moderate rocker profile, enabling the Virgo to turn quicker when on edge, but still retain fairly good tracking when straightline paddling. Drop down the skeg (epecially on windier days) is a good idea, and again, improves the tracking on this short sea kayak.
The well considered deck layout provides features such as spare paddle recesses, an anodised aluminium security point, paddle park, and a full complement of deck lines and bungees. The interior of the kayak has the reliable and fully adjustable Connect outftting to suit different sized paddlers. Unlike the Plastic version of the Virgo, which is available in three sizes. The Virgo Composite is available in ione size, with a maximum paddler weight of 110kg.
