A simple way to harness the power of the wind to your Hobie Mirage Kayak. The Hobie Sail Kit will fit all current models of Hobie Mirage Kayaks. Described as a downwind sail it enables the user to maintain forwardspeed with or without pedaling the drive system. The existing Hobie rudder kit built into the kayak works well in combination with the sail kit for steering and directioanl control. The Mirage-Drive pedal fins act as a centerboard when in the full-down position, offering great resistance needed for tacking and turing upwind.

The Sail Kit's two-piece mast (4-piece for i-series), boomless sail and diagonal batten design allows the sail to be easily rolled and stowed within the included durable storage bag, and can be used with all current models of Mirage Drive Kayaks (and many older designs). The Sail Kit is easy to assemble, and has everything included to get up and running.
