The Perception Prodigy 14.5T, successor to the popular Perception Kiwi, is a recreational touring kayak for two paddlers with a single large open cockpit design. It's wide hull shape provides high stability for a relaxed paddling experience, and the v-shaped bow helps the kayak track through the water with ease. The hull also features tracking channels along the centre section, which increases strength and reduces drag, resulting in a smoother paddling performance. The Prodigy has been outfitted with their Zone DLX seating systems, which makes it one of the most comfortable touring kayak available. Both seats can be repositioned forwards or backwards to accommodate paddlers with different heights, but also to help balance the kayak if the paddlers have different weights. The Zone DLX seats are super comfortable and offer support to improve the paddlers posture, allowing them to spend more time on the water. They feature a padded backrest that can be raised and lowered to offer the support in the correct place for each paddler. The angle of the backrest can also be altered to the desired place, for an improved sitting position or for a laid-back fit. The base of the seats feature leg lifters, that improve the support they give the paddler, allowing for greater comfort and control over the kayak.
