The Wave Sport Horizon touring kayak is a versatile choice for both calm inland waters and choppy sea conditions. It is fully moulded and outfitted in the UK, ensuring high quality construction and durability. The long waterline provides excellent directional stability, while the high volume bow gives a drier ride in poorer conditions as it climbs over waves and offers some deflection from spray away from the cockpit areas. This design also helps reduce the loss of those essentials, jacket, maps etc being stored under the bungee deck rigging.

The two bulkhead storage compartments are kept watertight with hatch covers at the bow and stern, providing ample space for securing extra equipment. This kayak can be used for short day trips, or loaded with overnight kit for camping trips. Another handy feature of the Wave Sport Horizon is the moulded front and rear carry handles, which give a super sturdy method of carrying the kayak, or serve as a convenient attachment point for security locks.

The Horizon is available is a variety of outfitting options, to suit varying budgets and requirements. The BlackOut option is the simplest option, featuring lightweight padded seats with minimal adjustment. There is also an option to purchase the BlackOut spec with a factory fitted rudder that greatly improves tracking and directional control in challenging conditions. The final option is the CORE WhiteOut version, which boasts super comfortable and fully adjustable seats for each paddler. The CORE WhiteOut outfitting includes connective hip pads, an adjustable leg support system, and is fitted with the rudder as standard.
