Premium Surface Immersion Suit for Sea Kayaking

The Typhoon PS440 2.0 H/E has been designed with kayak anglers in sea kayakers in mind, and the clever waist hinge-zip allows for simplicity when getting into or out of it, zipping it up solo is no more challenging then putting on a belt would be. As with all Typhoon surface immersion drysuits, the PS440 2.0 is manufactured from four-layer, breathable material, and also has cordura reinforcements on the high wear areas - knees and seat (which also features removable neoprene padding for increased comfort). Packed with features, this drysuit has a removable fleece storm collar, and a high visibility hood which can be packed away, or removed in warmer paddling conditions. Adjustable internal braces prevent the suit from moving around too much, and allows the suit to be worn as just the trousers, with the top-half tied around the wearers waist when travelling or getting ready.

Latex wrist seals, and a glideskin offer a nice combination to help prevent water ingress, and offer perhaps the best combination for saltwater use. While velcro overcuffs help ensure that the PS440 2.0 stays in place. The Typhoon PS440 comes supplied with a carrying/storage bag, which also unzips flat to act as a handy changing mat.
