These are supplied oversized to be cut to length thus ensuring a perfect fit within the canoe. Perfect for replacing old seats or upgrading your boat to take a centre passenger.

Nova Craft Varnished Bootlace Seats

Constructed using traditional methods, these seats have been made using high quality ash and lace. Some consider this seating system to be the best compromise between comfort, durability and functionality for open boat seats.The ash on these seat frames come ready varnished. Giving classic looks and styling, these seats provide a nice upgrade for all styles of open boat.

Swift Cherry Seats

These fantastic canoe seats are designed to make a more comfortable and improved performance seat, with a slight downward roll at the front they reduce the pressure on the underside of the paddlers leg when sitting or kneeling. While a flared design to the rear increases the surface area at the point it is required. Constructed from Cherry Wood with a traditional webbing. Supplied uncut.

Seat Hanging Kit (Varnished)

Varnished Canadian canoe seat hangers for the fitment of new seats or to replace old broken seat fixings. Complete with 4 dowels and all the needed metal work Ideally suited to match any of the varnished wooden canoe seats we supply, these ash dowels come ready varnished.

Seat Hanging Kit (Oiled)

To replace broken seat fixings or for those wishing to fit a new seat, this set of four dowels is the ideal choice. Designed to work alongside any of the Wood/Webbed or Bootlace Bow, Stern or Centre Seats we supply. Constructed from Stainless Steel and Ash dowling .Wooden dowels come ready oiled.

Old Town Seat Hanging Kit Round Dowel

Old Town round dowels to replace or add an additional seat, these seat hanging kits come complete with all fittings required to instal a new seat. They will also work with any wooden seat we supply and allow for a more uniform finish across the length of your Old Town Canoe.

Swift Kneeling Mat

An extra thick, kneeling pad which is easy to use and wide enough to use in both a tandem or solo position it fits neatly across the width of most Canadian Canoes. With a grippy base, plastic fastening clip and looped carry handle this kneeling mat is easy to transport and comfortable to kneel on and extremely durable.

GCI Outdoors Sitbacker

This could be the perfect solution for canoeists who prefer to sit rather than kneel in their open boat.

Designed to be universal, the Sitbacker is a removable canoe seat, that can be strapped to existing canoe seat/benches. Not only does is provide some padding under one’s posterior, it also offers great back support with added lumbar cushioning.

With adjustable side-straps, the Sitbacker can be reclined to multiple positions, and the double wide-webbing strap system ensures it secures well to the canoe seat. It weighs 1.6kg, and is easily removed, and can be folded flat when stored or being carried (with built-in shoulder strap). The Sitbacker also has a handy mesh-pocket on the rear to store items that need to be kept close to hand.

Unlike cheaper canoe seat-backs, the Sitbacker is incredibly strong, with an internal powder-coated steel frame, and designed to support weights of up to 113kg.

Outfitter Seats

Extremely hard wearing, durable and low maintenance, these plastic seats are blow-moulded and comfortable to sit in. Popular for those who have to store boats outside (saves on replacing wooden seats which rot) and by clubs, centres and hire operators due to the minimal upkeep required. These seats can also accommodate a lumbar supporting seat-back (sold separately) and offer more back support than a traditional wood webbed option.

PE Centre Seats

An additional centre plastic seat for minimal maintenance. Complete with the required hardwear these seats will fit into a range of canoes as a third central seat. Incredibly popular with outdoor centres and hire operators these seats require very little up keep. Available in two sizes, 865mm wide or 920mm wide. The 865mm fits into the centre of a Discovery 158 and the wider 920mm offers a centre seat for a Discovery 169, in other boats it may fit in different locations.

ABS Snap in Seat

A removable centre seat designed to take an extra passenger without needing to change the outfitting to the canoe or add more hardware/ gunwale holes. With a quick and easy to fit design the Snap In Seat can be done at the waters edge and allows for the canoe journey to be enjoyed by another. It also fits most canoes with vinyl gunnels (34-37 inch wide).
