The Minn Kota Traxxis is one of the most versatile and modern freshwater electric outboard motors available today. Benefiting from all the latest Minn Kota design ideas such as the Digital Maximiser, which can greatly increase your time on the water between battery charges, and the “Weedless Wedge 2” propeller to help you glide through heavy vegetation. The Traxxis also has a guaranteed-for-life composite shaft, a one-hand-stow system and a quick-lock cam-depth adjuster.

The Traxxis is available in several transom-mount specifications to suit your needs. Available thrust levels are 40, 55, 70 and 80 pounds of thrust. The 40 and the 55 are available in both a 5-speed and variable speed option. However, only the variable speed options include the Digital Maximiser. The 70 and the 80 come with variable speed and Maximizer as standard and all motors come with a 3-year warranty.

Our most popular models for open canoes are the Traxxis 45 and Traxis 55. We stock 2 models of the Traxxis 55 variable speed engine  36” and 42” shaft depending on the height of the engine above the water line for your setup.
