Insulated Chill Pod to keep your catch cool and fresh

The VIking Chill Pod pod is tough and fully insulated, designed to slot into the rear of the Viking Profish Reload, 400 & GT fishing kayaks.

Whether you are left or right handed the centred closure point makes it easy to reach round and flip up the lid, drop your catch inside and close it again.

Use crushed or bagged ice or even those blue chiller box blocks to get the temperature down. Salt ice is even better at reducing the temperature lower than standard ice and the insulation will keep it low for hours. There is a drain bung in the base of the pod should you wish to drain any water out on landing. The pod takes only a minute or two to fit or remove and can be put into your car or van with no worries about spillage.

They are manufactured in a range of colours enabling you to choose a pod to match or contrast with your kayak colour scheme. They come with a securing strap and bolts to match the threaded inserts at the rear of the tank-well. There is a strong carry handle at the thinner end of the pod which makes this easy to handle off the kayak.
