The Hobie Kayaks Adventure Island is the best solo sailing kayak, trimaran. Utilising Hobie's legendary Mirage Pedal Drive, a paddle or the power of the wind, the Adventure Island can take you wherever you dream of heading.

Featuring fold out AMA arms, the Adventure Island is an exceptionally stable, ideal for when being sailed. The drop-down deployable daggerboard prevents any lateral slip and makes for an incredibly competent sailing boat. When not being sailed, the AMAs can be quickly and easily detached and leave in its place a comfortable to paddle (or pedal) sit-on-top. The AMA arms will also fold flush to the hull when transporting, without need to be removed.

With two 8" hatches and a large Bow Hatch the Adventure Island is not short of storage space, and can be easily loaded up, mesh pockets are also found on either gunwale for smaller quicker required items. The Adventure Island can be propelled in comfort thanks to the Vantage CT seat, with adjustable height, seat base angle, back support, and lumbar support, the seat is designed with comfort in mind. Ideal for spending a few hours on the water fishing or sailing. The Mirage Drive 180 with Turbo Kick Up Fins is an easy-to-use pedal drive system, and can allow even in changing weather to use the Adventure Island. The 16'6" sail can be quickly furled and unfurled using the patented roller system, it's extremely quick and easy to do even if the weather is against you.
