The Hobie Passport 10.5 and 12.0 offer an entry level Hobie Kayak, but still retaining some of the legendary Hobie features such as the patented Mirage Drive pedal system on a more basic hull, provided at an entry level price. The compact lightweight stature of the Passport means that it's nimble and easy to manage on and off the water. At just 10.5ft the shorter Passport is easily manoeuvred and lighter in weight. Whereas the 12.0 is faster on the water, but less manoeuvrable and weighs a touch more. The hull on both lengths are incredibly stable and track well in a straight line, this boat is great for general touring as well as for fishing in calmer waters.

Equipped with the well-regarded Mirage Drive with kick up fins, this is the classic Hobie system featuring the twin blades, but a slightly simpler system than that of other models, requiring less maintenance. The pedal arms are fully adjustable to allow for users of various heights to effectively utilise the kayak. The Passport comes with an aluminium frame mesh seat which can be removed from the kayak, for ease of transportation, and has height adjustment for greater comfort.

Two flush mounted rod holders are factory fitted as standard. Two accessory mounting tracks running along the side of the foot well area, offer additional options to retro-fit any other accessories (such as fish-finder or camera mount). Multiple cargo space areas located across the boat offer great storage options, notably at the front and rear of the kayak where bungee is affixed to secure the load, and an additional 8 inch Twist-N-Seal hatch is located directly in front of the seat, perfect for small items that need to be kept close to hand. The Passport also comes ready to sail if desired (using an optional Sail Kit, supplied separately).
