The Jonny Bass 100 offers more than just a conventional fishing kayak, by being a hybrid between a kayak and a small powerboat. The design is based upon a classic open canoe and can be modified in such a way that the user has the ultimate decision in its’ outfitting- providing a versatile solution, offering freedom of choice for every budget and anglers requirements. The open platform gives space to build upon the base model and fine tune it to fit a variety of after-market additions. Perfect for calmer waters, and allowing anglers to reach the targeted fishing area in style in their own personal motorboat.

While Jonny Boats encourage the Bass 100 to be customised, the base model comes incredibly well outfitted with amongst other things a removable sonar and electronic pod, uni-track accessory rails, tank well storage area at the rear with bungee tie down, adjustable foot pegs, deck rod storage, flush mounted rod holders and more. The Bass 100 can be paddled like a traditional kayak, but most will want to fit an outboard. We would recommend the Honda 2.3hp outboard or the Suzuki 2.5hp for petrol outboard options and the Minn Kota Range of electric outboards for use with your Jonny Boats Bass 100.

The stable, planing hull inspires confidence and on a sheltered waters there should be little chance of a capsize. The Bass 100 is also fitted with non-slip pads to allow the user to cast from the standing position, or from the elevated seating system. The other major feature of the Bass 100 is it only weighing in at 35kg (when all accessories such as seat and pod are removed). This brings it fully into the realm of car roof-rack topping, as most of the Thule systems we supply are rated up to 80-100kg of carrying capacity.
