Vibe Yellowfin 120
The Vibe Yellowfin 120 is an extremely efficient to paddle and well rounded sit-on-top. With a 12ft length and fantastic initial stability it is a great boat for touring both inland waterways as well as rougher conditions off the extensive UK Coastline. The aggressive bow slices nicely through the water and helps to deflect waves around the kayak making it well suited for days where you want to explore and cover a bit of distance. As a touring kayak it is fantastic, capable of carrying a good amount of gear for a day (or two) out on the water but it is also well suited for kayak angling and carries a number of features with this in mind.
Two flush mounted rod holders are situated just behind the Hero seat, 10 sections of slide tracking feature along the surface of the boat giving amble room for personalisation and rigging it up as you want. These tracks are designed to interface with a wide range of track mounting accessories from brands such as Railblaza, Scotty and RAM Mounts, and make the perfect place to add extra rod holders, fish finder mounts or booms for a camera.
The Yellowfin features the comfortable Hero Seat, a metal framed mesh seat with easy adjustment offers tons of back support while lifting you slightly off the deck. The boat features a toe-controlled rudder which is easy to operate and allows for more precise.
Storage along the boat is well situated in user friendly locations, at the bow there is a storage area covered with a bungee mesh cover giving some ability to secure items down to the kayak (a great place to add dry bags if touring for multiple days). A central screw hatch with a cargo bag inside resides between your legs for easy access and the rear of the boat features a large tank well with retaining bungees crossing over, a fantastic place to keep a catch bag (if fishing) or dry bags or a barrel for more dry storage.
