All-round Touring And Sea Kayaking Cag

The Mistral from Palm Equipment is a well thought out, mid-weight, touring jacket. The latex wrist seals as found on drysuits, are the best method of keeping unwanted water creeping inside the jackets sleeves, a common problem, even on flat water, thanks to drips coming off the paddles blades. However, most recreational paddlers will keep their head above the water and have no need for a drysuit style, tight neck gasket. The Mistral takes this into account and provides an adjustable neck seal, made from a comfortable neoprene material that can be opened up and vented during long paddles or when the sun finally does come out.

 Suitable for both coastal and inland touring, the Mistral is popular with open boaters, sit on top paddlers and also closed cockpit kayakers, thanks to its Twin Waist seal.
