Built specifically as a versatile, general purpose sea kayak. The P&H Volan is a strong contender for those wanting one sea kayak for every situation. It can be loaded up for overnight trips, but still paddles nicelly when unloaded, and the hull shape lends itself for some ocean play when conditions are favourable. The Volan carves well on edge, but still offers a predictable ride even on turbulent water. The nice combination of a slight V to the hull, good bow volume and moderate rocker lends the Volan to a great allround paddling experience with surprising forward speed for a 16ft boat.

The peaked bow with wave deflectors allows for a dry ride, and helps to prevent the bow from purling under on steeper waves. The adjustable Connect outfitting is easy to play around with to ensure a great fit for the paddler, and the Volan is available in two sizes to suit.
