A Lightweight Solo Prospector for Small Waterways
The Nova Craft Prospector 14 is a scaled down version of the classic Prospector canoe hull shape, and retains the moderate rocker profile making it a nimble canoe with good manoeuvrability. As with all Prospectors, this 14ft model is nicely stable, and still retains this stability when paddled on its edge. The Prospector 14 makes for a true multipurpose, all-round one person canoe.
Those that love the larger tandem Prospectors will enjoy the weight of this version, and most people would be capable of lifting it onto a car roof-rack when loading up alone. On the water the Prospector 14 is reassuringly predictable, and responsive when paddling in tight locations such as coming alongside a jetty or riverbank. Thanks to the strong stability the Prospector 14 makes an ideal platform for fishing from or wildlife watching. The hull also copes very well with flowing water, strong currents and faster moving rivers.
