The Ranger 149 from the Venture Canoes brand is well-known as a stable, entry level to intermediate canoe. Versatile enough to be used onn sheltered lakes and estuaries, but can also be used as an introductory canoe for gently moving water. The relatively flat hull, combined with it's width gives the canoe a good primary stability to aspire confidence and progression in the sport.

The Ranger 149 is supplied in Cruiser spec. which has 2x wood-web seats fitted, central carrying yoke and moulded-in handles at either end. The canoe itself is constructed from Ventures Corelite material, which is created from sandwiching three layers of high-density polyethelene together for a great stiffness to weight ratio and proven durability.
