Bixpy Versa Rudder with V-Arm Steering
Rudder mounting solution for a Bixpy K-1.
The Versa Rudder with V-Arm steering utilises a kayaks exisiting 10mm rudder pin hole to offer a solution to mount a Bixpy K-1 in place, constructed of saltwater resistant materials the Versa Rudder is made of anodised aluminum and glass-filled nylon.
The unique tail shape of this rudder is designed to ease sharp turns, even while travelling at speed with the Bixpy running. When not needed the rudder can be lifted completely out of the water thanks to the Slide and Stow system which lifts using wheels to assist.
When in use the Versa Rudder locks down with a gravity driven locking system which holds regardless of forward or reverse thrust. The V-Arm steering can be used to attach to existing rudder lines and the installation process will take a matter of minutes.

Dimensions
- The top of the pin to the top of the motor measures 12.25 inches /305 mm.
- Pin length is 85 mm. Gap from pin to blade is 38 mm.
- To work effectively, the Bixpy K-1 motor needs to be 5 to 8cm (2" to 3") below the waterline.
- 46 x 10cm (18" x 4") rudder blade.
