Stand Up Board Powered By Mirage Drive

Hobie were the first company to introduce pedal-drive SUP boards to the market, and this version is their latest incarnation. Featuring an Ace-Tech hull construction, that provides strength, rigidity and performance. The board can be used with a traditional SUP paddle if desired, but most will opt to use the removable Mirage Eclipse V2 drive system. This pedal system has been developed from the Eclipse systems that Hobie Kayaks have been using for many years, and not only are they extremely efficient, they are also strong, durable and require little maintaining.

Other unique features include the easy to steer handlebar system, which links up to the rudder system. Both the rudder and handlebars are securely fastened to the board, but can be quickly removed when loading up the board at the end of the day. The standing area on the deck has some heavy-duty bungees for securing gear, and soft, cushioned high-grip EVA deck pads to provide a comfortable platform on which to stand on. Other features include an impact resistance nose cone, and loading skid pads to protect the underside of the hull.
