The Carlisle Standard Canoe Paddle has been the go-to paddle for many white-water rafting and canoe hire centres for one main reason- these paddles are extremely durable and can stand up to intensive use. Not only are they perfect for commercial providers, but they also make for a sensible spare/back-up paddle for casual paddlers who prefer not to be left up the proverbial creek. The polypropylene blade is nicely sized to give enough power, without the need for excessive force (20 x 8 inch).

The Carlisle Standard has a strong aluminium shaft, that is fully clad in a non-slip outer of polyethylene, and a nicely designed T-Grip that is comfortable to use over extended periods. The aluminium shaft also extends down a great portion of the blade to provide it with even greater strength.
