Enigma Code Paddles
£199.00 — £249.00
Touring Paddles with Length Adjustable Carbon Shafts
The Code from Enigma Paddles is a lightweight paddle designed primarily for touring, sea kayaking and kayak anglers. Available in two lay-ups with either a red glass fibre blade or full carbon blade (both options come on a straight carbon shaft). The blade has a mid-sized blade surface area meaning it is suitable for the majority of kayakers not demanding a large blade for racing or short sprints. The dihedral blade face offers smooth and predictable stokes, with minimal flutter through the water and the mid-sized blade offers a balanced stroke rate for longer days out on the water.
A nice feature on both the Code Red and Code Carbon, is that they both have adjustable feather and shaft lengths. This allows either paddle to be taken apart so it can be used as a spare or for ease of transportation/storage. They can be rotated through every angle to suit both right and left handed paddlers, and can easily be adjusted using a simple locking lever whilst out on the water, as and when conditions change. With the sliding, graduated spigot the Code's can also be easily adjusted in length between 215cm-225cm. Ideal for people sharing the same paddle and those using the same paddle for a variety of different kayaks in varying conditions.
