The Grey Owl Sprite is a wooden bent shaft open canoe paddle designed as a performance paddle. The Sprite gives the benefit of an angled shaft to align the blade face with direction of stroke. The flat power face of the paddle sits at an optimum 12 degrees, and in the real world should offer more efficient and power to the stroke. Not only handy for racers, but also canoeists looking to reach places quicker, or cover more miles on a day out.

The Grey Owl Sprite paddle can be used by canoeists in the traditional kneeling position, but also sit and switch or pack boat users. Constructed from laminated bass wood for a stiff flex, and nice feel to the stoke. Available in a varnished finish, the Sprite also features an epoxy reinforced tip for added protection and durability.
