Entry Level White Water Kayaking Paddle
The Palm Maverick Pro paddle is a popular whitewater or all-round kayak paddle. Developed from the long-term series of Palm Maverick paddles, this version provides a great combination of strength, durability and weight. The blades are constructed from a glass-fibre reinforced nylon material and are mounted onto an ovalized fully glass-fibre shaft.
Designed as a great first paddle, the Maverick Pro offers fantastic value for total beginners, right through to intermediate paddlers tackling their first white-water rapids. This paddle also makes a good choice for surf kayakers, and cross-over kayakers wanting a shorter length and shape of paddle for faster stroke rates and for paddling general purpose kayaks.
The Palm Maverick Pro comes supplied on a 45-degree, right-handed shaft/feather. However, Palm also offer this paddle as a 4-piece option, supplied in a handy mesh carrying bag. This 4-piece break apart has all the features and materials of the standard Maverick Pro paddle, but can be set up either right or left handed, and packs down small enough to store in the back of most white-water kayaks as a spare/emergency paddle.
