Upright Bars for Transporting Kayaks On Edge

Most roof bars wont be wide enough to accommodate 2 kayaks side by side to solve this issue you can add a pair of uprights to the existing roofbars. They have eyelets on the top to thread cam straps through, and are padded to offer protection to the kayaks hull.

With boats loaded on their side using these uprights, it can provide enough space across the roofbars for up to 4 small kayaks, or a kayak and slim roofbox or bike carrier. Because the upright bars fold they don't need to be removed and can be folded flat when not in use. Please note- always check the recommended weight limit for the vehicles roof and existing roof-rack system before transporting multiple kayaks, canoes, bikes and roof boxes.

Availible as both a square bar and T track version

The T track version simply slides into your roof racks T track and are tighten using a small nut . They are designed to fit T-track systems such as the Thule wing bars or Pro bars.

The square bar versions clamps around your square bar and is secured with 4 nuts on each upright.
