DropRacks Tall Van Edition

A high topped van roof rack system which eases loading.

The DropRacks TVE (Tall Van Edition) is a specific roof rack system designed to fit onto, as the name suggests, Tall Vans and Camper Vans. With a roof rack system which will safely lower off the side of the vehicle, the DropRacks TVE makes loading the bars significantly easier and can be done so at a more manageable height.

The TVE from DropRacks follows the development from the DropRacks XL, focusing on high sided vehicles this Tall Van Edition is perfect for camper van owners (or those with converted campers) who wish to utlise the roof for storage be that; canoes, kayaks, bikes, winter sports or even just additional storage. A crank handle with a built-in clutch creates an easy to lower/ lift system while the clutch ensures that regardless of where you stop in the raising or lowering of the DropRacks it remains in place.

When lowered the bars of the Dropracks TVE come diagonally down the side of the vehicle on an angle which makes getting to your carriers to unload much easier, but they remain far enough away from your vehicle to ensure no contact. Along the top bar, the Dropracks TVE have a T-Track style slot in the top of them which allows them to take almost any carrier you require. You may require the Eye Bolt Kit to secure the strap to and not interfere with the dropping system.

Dropracks are only compatible with vehicles using either flush mounted rails, fixing points or raised rails. The Droprack TVE will require appropriate mountings, such as Thule Clamp Footpacks (supplied separately).  Please note, currently Dropracks are not compatible with vehicles that require clamp under the door opening style fixings.
