High Performance Whitewater Rand Spraydeck

The Palm Orbit (updated version) is a bomber deck for white water paddling in demanding conditions, featuring a strong rubber rand instead of traditional bungee cord. This provides a tight fit onto the kayaks cockpit rim, allowing less water to creep in, and reduces the risk of implosions. This makes the Orbit Deck harder to fit into place, and will require more force to remove than most other neoprene spraydecks (especially bungee-cord).

Kevlar-reinforced high density nylon around the outer edge provides maximum durability against scuffs, scrapes and tears. With no seams on the outer front half of the deck to catch, also improves the longevity of the deck. On the underside of the deck is a sticky gripsil coating to help the deck stay in place once on and make a strong, watertight seal.

For maximum performance, the top of the stretchy neoprene body-tube is constructed from a propitiatory one-piece neoprene o-ring than keeps the tube hld up in place and helps to prevent water ingress, with or wihout a jacket.
