With more cockpit space that the Perception Expression 11, the Carolina 12 offers additional comfort for larger paddlers, or those with longer legs who are still looking for a relatively compact touring kayak. Dry storage can be found at both ends of the kayaks with bow and stern both featuring a hatch (and sealed bulkhead), allowing space to effectively load the kayak up when taking additional gear with you.

Made here in the UK, the Carolina 12 is light enough to be car topped solo and the shorter length makes storage a little easier too off the water. On the water two hatches allow for good storage capacity and the slight rocker to the keel line offers an excellent blend of manoeuvrability and straight line tracking.
