The Perception Carolina 14 is the bigger version of the popular Carolina 12 sharing the same features and hull design, but being 2 feet longer, and slightly narrower allows for greater efficiency over distance. The extra length also allows for better straight-line tracking, but does reduce the manouverbility and gives a larger turning circle The generously sized cockpit is popular with bigger paddlers, who prefer their kayak to be easy to enter and exit and not give a tight fit. The fully-adjustable seat combines plenty of padding with a reclinable backrest and leg lifter fto raise the front of the seat.
The Carolina 14 makes for a great mid-sized touring kayak for paddlers looking for an inland touring and sea kayak that combines a larger cockpit/seating area with great on-water performance.
