The Ocean Kayak Malibu PDL is nimble, agile and fast. Suitable for inland and coastal waters alike this nippy pedal driven kayak is great for fishing or for more general use. Based off a similar hull shape to the Old Town Sportsman Salty PDL 120, the Malibu PDL is a 12ft kayak with capability to handle choppier conditions (making it an ideal choice for UK anglers).

With an exceptionally efficient PDL Drive system, the legendary Old Town PDL Drive, the Malibu PDL is fast on the water and incredibly maneuverable given it's size, with both forward and reverse drive. The Malibu PDL features the Element Beach Seat, a mesh seat on an aliminium frame, offering exceptional lumbar support and mounted onto an adjustment track to allow it to be used by paddlers of various heights without issue. When not out on the water the seat can be removed and doubles up as a comfortable beach chair. Built into the under seat is a handy pocket, while a click seal hatch can be found directly beneath the seat providing access into the hull, for bigger items additional storage can be found in the rear tankwell.

If using as a fishing boat, the Malibu PDL comes equipped with three flush mounted rod holders (two rear facing to troll and keep out of your way while you are pedalling, the other is forward facing and is a great place to stash a rod while you bait or unhook your catch). Accessory tracks can be found on either side of the footwell suitable for any track mounting extra you may wish to add be that fish finders, additional rod holders or even action cameras. Fish finders can be installed with ease on the Malibu PDL as it features a universal transducer mounting point and scupper hole to pass the cables down from the screen.
