Viking Profish GT
Perfect for kayak anglers who don’t need to cover longer distances and are looking for a shorter, more manoeuvrable kayak. Great in narrow, tight spaces such as inland waters including canals, lake shorelines and reedbeds. The Viking Profish GT is also capable of paddling in the rougher conditions found inshore at the base of coastal cliffs, inlets, and small bays, although won’t be as efficient as it’s bigger brother the Viking Reload.
Wide across the beam, the Viking GT has a large carrying capacity for a kayak of its length and is extremely stable, even allowing paddlers with a good sense of balance to cast from a standing position whilst fishing in calmer waters. Hosting a myriad of features that the Viking Kayaks range is world-famous for, the Profish GT has everything a kayak angler needs to get started. The major feature which sets this kayak aside from many others is the removable Viking Tackle Pod. This design allows plenty of storage and acts a base to mount and contain a full fish-finder system if desired. This removable pod is a great way of easily installing a fish-finder, and a handy unit to remove entirely when transporting or storing the Profish GT.
Other standard features include moulded side-carry handles, flush-mounted rod holders, Railblaza Starport HD mounts and several watertight hatches. Optional extras include everything from a simple to fit Rudder System for hands free steering, right the way through to the legendary ‘Chill Pod’ that fits in the rear tank-well for keeping fish fresh during a long day’s fishing.
