The Hobie Pro Angler 12 is a super stable fishing kayak that has everything required to maximise comfort and functionality. This fishing kayak can be fully rigged up to take a 227kg carrying capacity whilst the Vantage ST seat is an ultra-comfortable, easy to adjust unit that has adjustable lumbar support, seat pitch and recline. Designed to be used on calmer waters the PA12 is perfect for fishing lakes, lochs, slow-moving rivers or sheltered coastlines.

With room on board to carry up to six fishing rods the Pro Angler also has fitted H-Rails either side of the cockpit area which offer versatility for adding accessories and moving items without need to drill into the hull. They also can double up as a grab rail to assist when moving around the boat, or manoeuvring the kayak on dryland. Across the Hobie Pro Angler 12 there are many storage options, including a large bow hatch, a smaller rectangular hatch equipped with Hobie’s pivoting tackle management system (including two Plano tackle boxes). Finally, an 8” twist lock hatch can be found at the stern located inside a generous sized rear tank well, perfect for to fit a H-Crate (supplied separately).

To help with steering and manoeuvring, a dual controlled rudder and retractable skeg system ensures the Pro Angler 12 stays on course. A 2-piece glass shaft kayak paddle is supplied so that the boat can still be moved in shallow waters, whilst a mast foot offers the opportunity to utilise another means of propulsion on windy days. On the underside of the hull a Guardian Retractable Transducer Sheild can be found allowing for fish finder transducers to be easily fitted and raised/ lowered. The Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 12 has two different pedal-drive options:

Pro Angler 12 Mirage Drive Featuring the exceptional Hobie Mirage Drive 180 V2, this pedal drive is extremely efficient and comes complete with forward and reverse options for increased performance. This version of the Mirage Drive also includes Kick Up Turbo Fins, for more power on every pedal and reduced chance of damage to the fins on underwater obstructions.

Pro Angler 12 360XR Drive Featuring the updated Mirage Drive 360 XR the Pro Angler 12 360 can be controlled with great precision as the fins can be pointed into any direction. With this complete 360-degree control, navigating the PA12 is extremely simple with the steering controls located alongside the rudder handle to optimise the ease of use. The 360 XR Drive does include Kick Up Turbo Fins as standard for great performance and practicality.
