Half Size Half Slice Freeride Kayak
Designed as a freeride kayak, the Pyranha Firecracker is considered a half-slice boat, but with a shorter overall length and a high bow rocker. Perfect for whitewater kayakers who want to spice up their local run, have the ability to throw their boat around and have fun on their way down the river.
Thanks to it's compact size, the Firecracker weighs in less than larger creek boats, making it easier to launch off waves and weight throw during transitions. The planing hull means that the Firecracker makes for a great surfing kayak, easy to spin, and carve through turns. The raised bow and strong bow rocker keeps the nose of the boat high and dry, and has the ability to ride over aerated water, as opposed to plugging throught it. The short, low volume stern is easy to dip, making the Firecracker a great boat for stern squirts, tail-dips and fast, eddyline turns.

The Pyranha Firecracker has a choice of Outfitting Options-
Stout 2:
- Solid, and highly ergonomic padded seat with trim adjustment and height adjustment shim.
- Stout 2 Hip-Pads.
- Deep-fill, oversized hip pads that mould to your shape, with foam adjustment shims.
- Stout 2 Thigh Grips.
- Full-plate Footrest.
- Padded, contoured thigh grips with fore/aft adjustment and an optional hooker upgrade.
- Ratchet Backband.
- Padded backband with height adjustment, and ratchet adjustment support.
Outfitting-Elite
The Pyranha Firecracker has a choice of Outfitting Options-
Elite:
- Ergonomic, padded seat that come be positioned forwards/backwards to trim the boat.
- 3-Way Adjustable Hooker Thigh Grips.
- Padded, height adjustable backband.
- Internal cord pulley (2:1), and aluminum cleat backrest adjustment.
- Foam hip-pads with additional shims.
- Adjustable bulkhead footrest.
- Airbag lash points. (airbags sold separatley)
- Carry-pads on either side of the cockpit rim.
