Pyranha Kayaks Scorch
Whitewater kayak with a high bow-rocker for river running
Pyranha created the Scorch from taking the highlights from all of their recent whitewater boats, refining and combining these to create truly excellent river-running kayak. From the classic Pyrnaha Burn, the Scorch shares it's crisp rails to have great carving ability and tight turns. The Scorch's volume distribution is taken from the 9R to provide a well-balanced boat, that inspires confidence and helps the paddler to hold a line through unpredictable water. The fast, planing hull and stern kick-rocker keeps the bow high and dry when skipping out from drops or riding up and over waves.
The Pyranha Scorch features the Stout 2 outfitting to ensure great connectivity with the kayak, and plenty of adjustment to ensure a good fit for all paddlers.
Outfitting
The Pyranha Scorch utlilises Stout 2 Outfitting, comprising of:
- Solid, and highly ergonomic padded seat with trim adjustment and height adjustment shim.
- Stout 2 Hip-Pads.
- Deep-fill, oversized hip pads that mould to your shape, with foam adjustment shims.
- Stout 2 Thigh Grips.
- Full-plate Footrest.
- Padded, contoured thigh grips with fore/aft adjustment and an optional hooker upgrade.
- Ratchet Backband.
- Padded backband with height adjustment, and ratchet adjustment support.
