The Nova Craft Varnished Thwart is designed to add rigidity to a canoe, and prove useful for carrying, loading and strapping in any lugage or equipment. Some boats come supplied with thwarts, while others are added as optional extras or upgrades, or can be retro-fitted. To install this thwart, a thwart fitting kit maybe required unless replacing an existing thwart and retaining the metal hardware. Supplied in an Varnished finish, also available in a Oiled finish, to match the woodwork in your canoe.
