The Idun is just shy of 16ft and in the fibreglass lay-up weighs in at 23 kg, allowing it to be carried solo and handle extremely well on the water. With a nice combination of length, and a moderate rocker the Idun is a very versatile boat; allowing the user to day trip, yet also have the carrying capacity to carry a week's worth of kit for extended journeys when required.

Paddlers who enjoy rougher water will no doubt appreciate the balanced hull shape, with a V-profile and reinforced chines. These allow the paddler to edge the boat through tighter turns, track well and offers a strong primary stability and seamless transition when edging. The hard chines also assist the boat to perform well when running downwind with a following sea.

This Greenland inspired design provides the agility and precise feel you would expect with such well-defined rails. It it has more volume than most similar kayaks making it a great choice for paddling longer distances and for paddling with a full load.
