Despite its misleading name- the Brittany has been styled on classic British sea-kayak lines. Perfect for use on UK coastal waters, the hull has been designed to have a moderate width, strong primary stability and just enough rocker to provide good manoeuvrability for a kayak of its length. For added ease of straight-line tracking and turning ability, the Brittany features both a drop down skeg and also a factory-fitted ruder system.
With all the high-end features displayed on more expensive sea kayaks, the Riot Brittany includes 2 large watertight bulkheads and a third, small day hatch behind the cockpit. The High Density plastic hull is far more robust than composite sea kayaks which allows for confident beach launches and landings, rock hopping options and also more durability whilst playing in the surf.
