The Stratos 14.5 is one of Dagger's modern touring boats, designed primarily as an ocean going boat, although it is equally at home touring on inland waterways, such as gentle moving rivers, canals, lakes, and reservoirs. However, where the Stratos comes into its own is when conditions get rougher and paddling a boat that can handle larger waves and swell becomes necessary. Combining a slicey bow profile with a strong hull rocker, the Stratos cuts through chop with ease and makes it a highly manoeuvrable boat for its length. With a flattened section on the hull under the seating position, the Stratos is super stable when surfing waves and ocean swell.

A forgiving boat, the Stratos can also be paddled by beginners looking for a boat to progress forwards in and not have to replace down the line, as new skills and techniques are learnt.
