FeelFree Aventura 110
The Feelfree Aventura 110 V2 is a short, stable day touring kayak with all the features a paddler would be looking for in an inland or coastal cruising kayak. A large cockpit enables getting in and out simple, but can still take a larger sized spray deck if required. Inside the Aventura 110, the outfitting is designed to offer maximum comfort and support, by being fully adjustable to accommodate different sizes/shapes of paddlers.
The hull shape is designed to have a nice compromise between stability and efficiency. The strong keel-line and flared bow allows the 110 to cope remarkably well with small waves and choppy conditions. Constructed from durable polyethylene, the Aventura 110 gives great performance and good straight-line tracking which can be enhanced by deploying the drop-down skeg (particularly useful on windy days). The V2 version of the popular 110 keeps all the original features and well-considered hull shape but has made improvements to the super-linear hull material, resulting in it keeping strength, but reducing the overall weight allowing for easier carrying and car-topping.
Deck features include, front and rear carry handles, deck-mounted bungee cord for additional storage and a large watertight hatch cover mounted on the rear deck. The rear sealed bulkhead doubles up as a buoyancy chamber as well as storage area, and the hatch lid has a simple to use locking system that can easily be used, even with cold hands.
Whilst the shorter Aventura 110 is nimble and manoeuvrable, for those looking at similar kayaks but with a larger carrying capacity, even more room in the seating area and more length for extra forward speed, then perhaps the Aventura 125 is worth a look
