FeelFree Aventura 125
The Feel free Aventura 125 V2 is the midsized touring kayak from the Aventura range. Perfectly suited to covering a good distance in a day, while retaining ample features to be as comfortable as possible while out on the water the Aventura 125 is a well thought out kayak. With a good water length of 12’ 6” and a reassuring stability the Aventura features a large easy access cockpit and a comfortable padded seat which is easy to adjust and offers exceptional lower back support.
Two generously sized sealed hatches can be found at either end of the kayak, providing plenty of storage for overnight gear or a change of clothes. Deck lines and bungees adorn the surface of the boat offering up plenty of storage for the on the water essentials. Whilst the125 is exceptionally stable and better suited to taking heavier paddlers or paddlers looking to carry equipment and not have to leave any comforts at home when camping. The 125 can still work well for smaller paddlers wanting a longer day touring boat.
The boat has great glide characteristics, when coupled with a strong keel line accented by a v-shaped hull makes for an efficient and well performing day tourer. In choppier conditions or facing cross currents the easy to deploy drop down skeg can assist to help keep the Aventura heading in the correct direction. The Adventura 125 handles really well with small waves and choppy conditions on choppy lakes and coastal waters.
Whilst the longer Aventura 125 is quick and efficent, for those looking at similar kayaks but a little smaller and lighter, then perhaps the Aventura 110 is worth a look
