Pelican Sprint 120XR
Two feet longer than the Pelican Sprint 100, the 120XR is a faster, more efficient kayak to paddle over distance, but is slightly heavier and less manoeuvrable. However, with the additional volume, the Pelican Sprint 120 does have a higher carrying capacity. The hull shape is fairly wide, and combined with the deep V-cine hull provides with paddler with a reassuring ride and strong secondary stability, even in choppy waters.
Apart from the on-water performance, the 120 boasts a host of nice features to make your time out on the water enjoyable and comfortable. The Ergoflex seating system is fully adjustable and covered with a breathable outer cover, to help ensure you're not sat in a puddle when out paddling. Onboard storage features include a large rear hatch for carrying drybags, deck bungee's and a 10cm day hatch upfront for storing handy items that you would like within reach. With a an oversized cockpit, the Pelican 102XR is easy to get in and out of, but still allows the kayakers thigh's to tuck under the padded thigh brace/knee pads allowing for more control and edging of the kayak when required.
Suitable for inland touring, and also sheltered coastal paddles the 120XR is suitable for beginners, and those looking to progress within the sport.
